Lyndon Carlson - State Representative

Volunteers and I have been doorknocking and visiting with the residents of Crystal, Golden Valley, and Robbinsdale about their legislative concerns.  I appreciate the courtesy extended to us.

When I was first elected to the Minnesota House of Representatives, I made the commitment to be a hard-working, responsive legislator.  One of the ways I have met that commitment is through a system of effective communication with the people of the district.  My approach has been to face issues and challenges in positive, constructive ways.  The experience I have gained has enabled me to take a leadership role on many issues.  My record demonstrates an ability to get things done for the people in the district.

I have enjoyed my years of service, and I want to continue to work for you in the Minnesota House of Representatives.  My commitment is just as strong today as it was when I was first elected.  I believe in being well informed on the issues and being an advocate for issues that are important to my constituents.  Since being elected, I have been fortunate to be able to maintain a record of 100% attendance.

I ask for your support on November 2, so I can continue my work for our district.  If you are not registered to vote at your current address, you can register at your polling place on Election Day.  If you are not sure about the location of your polling place, or if you have questions about applying for an absentee ballot, you can get the information by visiting the Secretary of State's Polling Place Finder, or by calling your City Hall.
